I stumbled upon an interesting article on StumbleUpon.com today titled “20 Misused Words That Make Smart People Look Dumb. You can see it here.
I suggest you read this article. It has great advice that any writer — and we’re all writers — needs to know.
I’ll add one set: your vs. you’re. Your is he possessive — your house, your car, you friend. You’re is a contraction that means “you are.” All too often I see people using your when they mean you are. Don’t make this mistake.
