Have you ever given somebody feedback in an attempt to help only to find that the other person really didn’t want your help?
If this has ever happened to you, you know that open, honest feedback can enhance some relationships and put a damper on others.
This article provides you with some great ideas on how to give feedback effectively.

The three questions at the beginning of the article…
- Does this person know that I have her back under any circumstances?
- Does this person trust me?
- Does this person know that I accept her just as she is?
…make a great point. If you answered “no” to any of them, you have a relationship problem, not a feedback problem.
In other words, you need to build strong relationships with others before attempting to give them feedback.
Great advice here.
