My friends at Corporate Class just released an interesting blog post on presentations. They urge folks to use the pyramid technique — especially when they’re presenting to senior leaders.

While I urge you to read the article, here’s what it says in a nutshell….
When you’re presenting to senior leaders begin with the important point with which you want to leave them. Don’t build up to it. These are busy people who want you to get to your main point quickly. I give this advice to all of my coaching clients.
The article also suggests that you need to practice your talk before delivering it. I advise my coaching clients this way: Don’t practice until you get it right. Practice until you can’t get it wrong.
