Turn That Job You Hate Into One You Love

This article says that research shows that 74% of workers would like to leave their job.  That’s an amazing number.  I’m not even sure if it’s true.  But even if the actual number is about half of that , 37% is still pretty high.

I get it that some jobs can be soul sucking.  And sometimes you’re better off leaving them.  On the other hand, you can choose to take responsibility for your job satisfaction.

This article suggests three ways to do just that.

I like the third suggestion best.  Ask for more responsibility.  There are all sorts of benefits to this.  First, you will build a reputation as a go getter.  Second, you will get more interesting and engaging work.  Third, you will learn some new skills and add some valuable experience to your resume when it’s time to move on.  This is especially good advice if you love your company but hate your job.
