Many of my career mentoring clients come to me because they want to make a career change. While making a career change isn’t easy, it can be done.
One of the biggest challenge career changers face is putting together a resume that highlights your skills, experience and accomplishments in a way that makes sense to hiring managers in the field you want to enter.
This article does a good job of showing you how to do just that…
If you’re a career changer, you want to pay attention to all seven pieces of this advice.
But pay particular attention to number 5 — be concise and list only the information that is relevant to the type of job you seek in the new field. Don’t just create a laundry list of your skills and experiences. Select only the accomplishments and responsibilities that will support your new career objectives.
Your career mentor,
Bud
