It’s easy to get desperate when you’re out of work.  So when a job offer comes, you take it without thinking.

I like all of the ideas in this article.  I especially like the idea about your gut reaction to the hiring manager.  If you can’t stand the guy or gal when he or she should be on his or her best behavior during an interview, how are you going to be able to work with him or her daily?

You have to go with your gut here. If it tells you to run away, run away.  You’ll be selling yourself short if you choose to work for a jerk.  It’s just not worth it.
